The living rooms and bedrooms have been restored and decorated to create a welcoming, authentic, comfortable, warm, soft, elegant, harmonious, surprising, luxurious, original, restful, simple, useful and voluptuous atmosphere!

A piece of cloth, an object or a painting are the inspiration for the choice of colours and materials.

The bedding, the focal point of the bedroom, has been chosen minutely carefully to provide the most restful experience.
Magazines, novels and art books have been carefully selected and are available in the great drawing-room and in the bedrooms.
A continental breakfast is served in the dining room and hot drinks are also available to help yourselves all day long.
Breakfast is included.
Access to a very large swimming pool (almost 20 m), tennis, bicycles, a river, vineyards, and a classified park...
Daily cleaning is included in the price.
We do not accept animals or children under 14 years old.

The date of receipt of your cancellation (by mail or post) will result in the following charges:
Receipt of your cancellation more than 14 days before the planned date of arrival, no charge will be made.
Receipt of your cancellation 14 days, or less than 14 days, before the date of arrival a charge equal to 50% of the amount of the stay will be made.
Cancellation received 8 days or less before the date of arrival and no-show (effective from 7 p.m.) will be charged the full amount of the stay.
A shortened stay will result in the invoicing of 50% of the remaining nights with a minimum of one night as compensation.
If due to exceptional circumstances, the Château des Grotteaux has to cancel the stay, an alternative solution will be proposed and the sums already paid will be refunded.
Arrivals are between 3.30 pm and 7 pm. In case of late arrival, please inform us before 4 pm. For the peace and quiet of our guests, no arrivals are possible after 10 pm.
On the day of your departure, the room must be vacated before 11 a.m.
Children over 14 years of age are welcome
For safety reasons, due to the presence of the river and the large swimming pool, we are unable to welcome children under the age of 14. We cannot make exceptions to this rule.
The capacity of each room is clearly indicated. It is not possible to add extra beds.
For your comfort and peace of mind
The rooms and lounges of the castle are non-smoking and it is forbidden to light candles or incense.
For reasons of hygiene, our friends the animals are not accepted and the meals or picnics are prohibited in the rooms and the living rooms.
Except for bad weather conditions, the swimming pool is open from 10 am to 1 pm and 4 pm to 7 pm.
