Your walking tour of Marseille departs in the morning from the Old Port central dock of the city. This meeting spot is hard to miss because it’s where the fish market takes place every morning. Once you get together with your group and guide, hop on a public bus (all public transport tickets needed for this tour are included). Your bus ride takes you up to La Grande, the highest point in the city. Here you can catch a glimpse of the Basilique Notre Dame de la Garde before heading off on foot for the Roucas Blanc neighborhood. As you pass through the neighborhood, enjoy views of the seashore and city. Follow your guide down to Prophet's Beach, one of the most well-known beaches in the area. Continue walking on the seafront road, Corniche, and spot the Planier Lighthouse. Other places you’ll pass include the Valmer Gardens, Marégraphe, and Maldormé Creek. Your last stop is at Vallon des Auffes, the picturesque fisherman port. Your tour ends with return to the Old Port central dock.
