Half day French Riviera eBike Tour: 4 hrs,

Description

Half day French Riviera eBike Tour: 4 hrs

Enjoy the best views in the South of France with minimal effort! You get to see stunning views and hidden corners that you would not find in any guidebook.

Thanks to our eBikes that ride like normal bicycles, you will make easy work of the hills thanks to the electric assistance. The tour is suitable to active adults and children aged 15 and over. We’ve spent a lot of time researching the itinerary to make sure it is safe. Although a small part of the itinerary is on a main road, most of the route is on quiet roads with little traffic.

This is the healthiest and most ecological way to enjoy the Riviera! What you will see on the half day French Riviera eBike Tour

The Old Port of Nice – Port Lympia
Lympia, as in “limpid”, refers to the crystal clear waters of the port. Here we experience the contrast of the old world charms with the Italian palazzos that line it against the modern megayachts moored just beneath. One megayacht is probably worth more than one palazzo! In a quiet corner, we will see traditional fishing boats (the “Pointus”) that most visitors miss.

Mont Boron City Park
As we climb up the Mont Boron, we really appreciate the electrical assistance of our eBikes and this is where many guests tell us they will buy one at home! At the ridge, when we ride through the Mont Boron city park, it is hard to believe that we’re still within the city limits of Nice. The quiet roads are lined with olive and oak trees and every metre we climb opens up even more incredible views of the Mediterranean Sea.

Mont Alban
The summit of Mont Boron houses Elton John and the fortress of Mont Alban. If the fortress of were in North America, it would be a national icon. It’s in great condition despite being 500 years old, and ignored by most. We are not able to enter as it’s not open to the public. At 200 m/600 ft above sea level, this is the best place to look down on the rich and famous in Cap Ferrat, summer residence of Paul Allen, Adam Clayton, Somerset Maugham, Isadora Duncan, David Niven, Charlie Chaplin – and maybe yourself one day?

Medieval Town of Villefranche
Villefranche has a medieval village centre hidden behind its colourful Ligurian seafront façade. You might recognise the scenery from countless movies like Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Never Say Never Again, The Bourne Identity, and to Catch a Thief. We have our picnic (own expense) on the gorgeous beach of Villefranche before returning to Nice.
