Full day Riviera eBike Tour with Villa Ephrussi de Rotschild and Petanque

with French Riviera Bike Tours in Things to do in French Riviera

Description

Join us for a full day adventure on this fun eBike tour. We travel through time from medieval fortresses via Belle Epoque palaces to the modern mega mansions of the super rich.

Visit the pinnacle of “Riviera Folly”, Villa Ephrussi de Rotschild, and immerse yourself in the Riviera culture with a game of Pétanque (boules) in a scenic spot by the Mediterranean.

We cover the same itinerary as the half day French Riviera eBike Tour and we then continue on from Villefranche to St Jean Cap Ferrat.

Thanks to our eBikes that are as easy to ride as a normal bicycle but give you assistance up the hills, the tour is suitable to active adults and children aged 15 and over. We’ve ensured the itinerary is safe, and most of the route is on quiet roads with little traffic.

What you will see on the Full day Riviera eBike Tour

The port of Nice, Mont Boron, Mont Alban and Villefranche (as in the half day tour)
The port of Nice contrasts Old World charms with modern mega yachts. As we climb up the olive tree adorned Mont Boron, we really appreciate the electrical assistance of our eBikes. We cycle past Elton John’s house at the summit of Mont Boron and the impressive medieval fortress of Mont Alban. Our lunch stop is by the Mediterranean in Villefranche-sur-Mer.

Jaw-dropping views of the French Riviera
Throughout this tour, the panoramic sea views never stop. The picture paints a thousand words!

Ville Ephrussi de Rotschild (St Jean Cap Ferrat)
No building epitomises the wealth spent on the French Riviera better than this folly. The nine themed gardens only add to the eccentricity as they’re designed to form the prow of a ship when viewed from the loggia of the house. In an obsessive quest for perfection, the owner had eight full-size models constructed before she was happy! Entrance to the villa is included in this tour. You guide will wait with the bikes outside.

Pétanque
The iconic pastime of the French Riviera, it takes a minute to learn and a lifetime to master. The simplicity leaves many players addicted after the first couple of rounds, and you’ll be surprised at how competitive you really are! We play this game under the Mediterranean pine trees overlooking a scenic bay in St Jean Cap Ferrat.
