Program : First of all, cross the Plaine des Cafres slightly uphill rising to over 1,600 m above sea level where you will have an exceptional view of the south coast. With its rich agricultural world, this buffer zone has an authenticity that is easily felt as you walk through the meadows, which stretch as far as the eye can see. On the way to the volcano, a stop at the Nez de Bœuf Belvedere offers a beautiful view of the river from the Ramparts. The Segway ride starts a little further on with the discovery of the lunar landscape of the Pas des Sables, composed of red and ochre-coloured slag and flowering plants endemic to Reunion Island. The Segway adventure starts from the Foc-Foc car park, with an invigorating freshness and in an enigmatic atmosphere that will follow you to the viewpoint on the volcano. The splendour of the Indian Ocean is finally revealed from the Piton de Bert.
